I still haven't received final confirmation on which rooms we're in, but anime will likely be in MNT201 as usual. The times listed above are a bit different than usual. This is because at least one member on the forums had intended to show up for Ergo Proxy at 10pm and missed the first episode. We tend to run ahead of time based on an anime episode running ~25 minutes, so I've posted a schedule to more closely reflect how the day is likely to pan out (Times always subject to change). Update: Location info now added. UCU 205 is down the hall (past MNT202 and 203), and to the right. Once crossing into the Unicentre, it's on the left.

This is our first showing for the new season. It is *FREE* for anyone to come and check out! If you like what you see, we encourage you to join our club! Anyone can become a member of our club even if they are not a student at the university of Ottawa. Members can enjoy regular anime showings and access to all our social events for the duration of their membership. Also yes, as you may have noticed above, we now have TWO ROOMS. This means there will be a room for socializing as well as a room for anime viewing every time week meet. Otanoshimi-ni! October 1st (This saturday) is our first regular showing of the season. With a fresh lineup of shows we are hosting this first show free of charge! Bring anyone you know, and spread the word. Memberships for the rest of the term and/or year will also be on sale so if you like what you see, then you can join for the rest of the term. Membership benefits include free admission to other club activities such as game nights, and socials (we're talking pizza and video games!!) As an added bonus, all club members can receive a 10% discount on anime and manga at the Wizard's Tower (in the unicentre). $10 gets you all this for the entire next year! $6 if you just want to be a member for the September-December term.

uOttawa's first show for the fall is our Anime Banzai show. Anime Banzai is a series of anime-related events/activites put on annually by SOAP (formerly Anime OR-G). You can buy an all access pass for Anime Banzai which includes the Anime @ Carleton showing, our uOttawa anime showing, and the dance which immediately follows our showing.
Pricing:
$10 for all-access to Banzai events,
$3 for admission to *1* anime show,
$7 for the dance.

ART257 is a bit of a tricky one, but don't worry. First of all, the building is located at the Corner of Laurier and Transitway. So you'll get off of your bus at the Laurier stop. Now, the ARTS building is *on* the corner across from where the buses stop (on the westbound side of the transitway). Inside of the ARTS building, take the elevator to the 2nd floor and go left. Room 257 is on the left hand side in the corridor connecting ARTS to Simard. I hope to see you all there!

Winter 2005
FINAL SHOWING: April 9th, 2005 in MNT201
April 9th (this saturday) is the last showing for the term, come out and join us for this season finale of sorts. We will also be holding club elections for the season starting in September. There will be time afterwards for chatting, and this showing is also particularly short (we've finished most everything we were showing, and besides, it's exam season!!! :P Here is the schedule!

The room for our social on Feb 12th (see previous update below!) has been booked for MRT218 (this is the Morissette Library, for those who don't have our building codes memorized). UOTTAWA ANIME CLUB SOCIAL: On Saturday February 12th, The University of Ottawa Anime Club is having it's annual social. We will be gaming, and of course watching anime. There will be pizza and pop. Bring your friends and join us for this special event! Every anime club member gets in free, and non-members get in for the standard pricing of $3 for the day. See you there! Or, as they say at the end of next episode previews, "Otanoshimini!" (look forward to it)
